Competition Overview
The VinUniversity National High School Entrepreneurship Competition is designed to inspire and equip students from 10th grade onward with the skills and mindset needed to start their own ventures. By fostering an entrepreneurial spirit, the competition aims to increase the number of startups in Vietnam and help students develop problem-solving abilities, financial management skills, and resilience in overcoming everyday challenges.
Through hands-on experience, participants will not only gain practical business knowledge but also contribute to transforming Vietnam's economy from a low-cost manufacturing hub to a center of innovation, creating unique products and services for global markets. Ultimately, the competition seeks to empower young entrepreneurs to build their futures in Vietnam, reducing the need for talented graduates to seek opportunities abroad.
FOUNDERS

Co-Founder- My Ha Le, a freshman business major at VinUniversity, and leading organizer of the 2024 VinSchool’s Z Pitch National Startup Contest and was president of the The VZNIS-Vinschool Pioneering Business Club.
Co-Founder- Khoa Duong, Junior at Hanoi-Amsterday High School, founder of Vietnam’s first high school startup incubator, Viet Launchpad.
Co-Founder-Nguyen Thanh Hai-Currently a senior at VinSchool Times City and won first prize Z PITCH 2-Vinschool startup competition in 2024 and lead ZPITCH 3 competitions in 2025. He currently, THE VZNIS Business Club Generation 6 president.
EVENT LEADERSHIP TEAM
The VinUniversity Vinnovation Club lead by Bui Thi Diem Hong and Nguyen The An are managing the event. This club sponsors and runs event in conjunction with Elabs, VinUniversity’s business incubator, lead by Nguyen Minh Phuong, Director of Elabs.
Exciting Prizes
Future Founder Bootcamp
The first three place winners will receive scholarships to VinUniversity's Future Founder Bootcamp, which takes place from July 7 to 20, 2025. The scholarships will range from 100% to 50%.
Cash Prizes
All 10 finalist will receive 2,500,000VND to invest in their business.
Mentorship
All 10 finalist will have access to a pool of mentors to ask questions.
Key Competition Dates
Application Deadline
Friday, May 16 at 11:59 p.m. is the deadline for the first round of applications.
Judges Select 10 Finalist
Sunday, May 25 the 10 finalist will be announced.
Finalist Feedback
10 Finalist Receive Feedback to improve their presentation.
Final Presentation
The 10 Finalist will present the morning of June 14th at VinUniversity. The doors will open at 7:30 a.m. and judging will start at 9 a.m. with each entrepreneur/team making a 10 minute presentation and 5-minutes of Q&A.

Round One Presentation Requirements
Each student entrepreneur will create a Power Point presentation in English because the world's business language is English, but send it in PDF form that covers the following in this order:
Problem/Opportunity
Provide a description of the problem you are solving or the opportunity you think has great financial potential. (50 words or less and must include at one third party fact with the name of the source to confirm the need or potential)
Solution
Provide a description of your product or service. (50 words or less)
Market Research
Provide market research that proves there is a market for your product/service. Whatever information you provide there must be a named third-party source. (300 words or less)
Revenue Streams
Tell us how you plan to make money. (200 words or less)
Financial Requirements
Financial Model
Create an excel spreadsheet that shows your income and expenses for three years. Your idea has to be scalable to grow nationally and potentially internationally (Spread sheet)
Competition Analysis
Create a spread sheet with competitors horizontally and categories vertically. There needs to be no less than three competitors. (Spread sheet)
Capital Needed
Provide the amount of capital you will need to start your business, which includes, but not limited to, salaries, materials to make your product, marketing, rent, insurance, etc. (150 words or less)
